Moving on from our last post, we travelled NE on the main island Honshu. In the comments the person who contributes the the most is called anonymous. We both would love to know who the comments are from. If you could sign off with your name that would be great. Japan by campervan

Carrot the campervan, home for six weeks So we are now 2 weeks into a 6 week tour of Japan in our rental camper with the catchy name “Carrot”. We saw a similar one called “Radish” the other day! It is a Nissan Caravan with a 2.4l litre petrol engine and automatic. Not brand new but lovely to drive. It comes with a fridge, small stove, sink and water supply and a seat arrangement that drops down to a good double with still a bit of changing room. Fully equipped with bedding and kitchen stuff. Value at 100 AUD per day. We rented from Japan Campers and chose their “Budget Big Camper.”. Carrot was the result. Driving in Japan is so easy. Our rental came with an iPad and 1GB data per day. With Ms Google and Janesan navigating we have had very few wrong turns. And if wrong the polite Japanese drivers accommodate us. Speeds are mainly 40 or 50 OR 30 kmh and no hassle from behind. There are traffic lights everywhere, even small country towns, and always a dedicated turn right lane. Funny...
